The thigh lift is a surgical procedure designed to improve the shape and smoothness of the limbs and reduce the volume and excess skin.
Due to factors such as decreased skin elasticity, sagging soft tissue surgery, significant thinning or simply the passage of time, sagging skin not readjusts itself to the new contour, and may require additional surgical techniques to remove and tighten excess thereof.
The lifting thighs is performed by an incision at the groin, which follows the curvature of the inner thigh. Depending on the degree of sagging will require greater extension towards the rear of the buttocks.
The patient was discharged from hospital the next day in the case of general anesthesia, or on the same day if it is performed under local anesthesia and sedation. In about two weeks the patient can perform normal life, but must wait at least a month and a half for exercise.
The medical team of Royal Aesthetic Clinic at all times monitor the patient’s progress and will indicate the most suitable postoperative treatment in each case.
